We would like to introduce you to Chef Jason Buchannan! Jason is a four year veteran with College Chefs and a living legend within the Sigma Sigma Sigma chapter at Western Illinois University. He has been a pinnacle of reliability for the sorority and for College Chefs. He has helped the company pursue it's goal of providing ridiculously good food to fraternities & sororities -- and in turn has been able to pursue his own passions in life.
When we first met Jason, he was running his own coffee shop in Macomb, IL called ‘The Little Java House”. He was in the process of selling it when he decided to come on board with College Chefs! Jason is a father of four, who are his first priority in life. He is deeply involved with his community as a minister in the church, a mentor for the teenagers there and he also does missionary work during the summers. He has martial arts training, which puts him high in the running as the first member of our elite team of ninja chefs…
Jason loves to grill outdoors and enjoys the opportunity for personal growth as a chef. He continues to be amazed at all of the new things that constantly evolve within the food culture and enjoys keeping up with current food trends.
